“What is an orthodontist?”
An orthodontist is a dentist who has undergone specialized training to diagnose, prevent, and treat dental and facial irregularities in patients.
Within the U.S., orthodontists are required to complete a two or three-year advanced residency program in orthodontics following the completion of
four year of dental school. Each of these programs must be accredited by the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Dr. Johnson is Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. The only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Warren Johnson received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas TX and his Orthodontic Certificate and Masters Degree (M.S.)
from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr Johnson likes to water and snow ski, ride mountain bikes and motorcycles, and go on road trips. Dr Johnson and his wife have three beautiful girls and one boy.
